In a world of evolving technology, teachers and professors alike run into the issue of students submitting work that isn’t theirs – similar to plagiarism, but this time through artificial intelligence. Programs such as ChatGPT use neural network processes to generate content; however, this content can be recognized as AI generated by utilizing neural networks. Our project explores how neural networks are related to AI and how its content can be analyzed to detect original work.

About the Authors

Sigrid Fitschen

I am a junior English major with a Computer Science minor at SNC. I also helped with research, in addition to making the presentation and writing and editing papers for the experimentation aspect of our presentation.

Maddie Sanderson

I am a sophomore Computer Science and History double major at SNC. I did the majority of the work on this website, as I work at the Tech Bar and have a very thorough understanding of WordPress sites and how to build them. I also assisted with research.

Sydney Vitalbo

I am a sophomore Computer Science and Math double major, with a Biology minor at SNC. For this project, I did the majority of the research and organization of the research, as well as I made the abstract for this project and assisted with the experiment.
